Digital Secure Key

The Digital Secure key replaces the Physical security device and is part of HSBC Armenia Mobile Bank application. If you use Online banking, our Digital Secure key gives you added protection against the threat of fraud. With Digital Secure key you can generate a temporary code from your device, so you can access your full range of Online banking services.

The Secure Key generates a temporary code which you then use to access online banking and as an extra level of security for certain actions performed through online. We recommend using a Digital Secure Key as it is available on most models of phones, it is also secure, modern and easy to use, but if your device is not compatible you can use a Physical Secure Key.

To generate the code, you need a PIN known only by you - or you can use biometrics if your device has these features.

You can set up a Digital Secure Key on Android and Apple devices running up-to-date software. You'll first need the HSBC Armenia app, which you can download on all Android and Apple devices running Android 7 or higher and iOS 12 or higher software.

If you do not have a compatible mobile device we can provide to you a Physical Secure Key upon request.
